Linda Sonnett is the "Mastermind" behind Quilted Sonnett's, a home based hobby/business specializing in patchwork quilts and quilted home decor. Whether a bed quilt, throw quilt, lap quilt, wall quilt, sofa quilt, or baby quilt; each hand made creation is individually designed and sewn so no two are alike.
Unless otherwise noted only 100% cotton fabrics and batting are used in each quilted product. Polyester pillow inserts are used in the decorator pillows.
Born in Seattle Washington I developed a passion for sewing at an early age. I started sewing on a Treadle made by the White Sewing machine Co. then advanced to a 1957 Singer. My mother however gave that machine to her grand-daughter (my daughter) who has moved out and taken it with her leaving me no recourse but to buy a new machine.
Being a third generation fabric addict, Quilting seemed to be a reasonable solution to my problem. Inspired by two of my Aunts I started quilting at age 13.
For the record, my husband knew of my insanity and married me anyway!
My joy would be a noisy, busy, Quilting shop, full of fabric and creative people, including children, bouncing ideas off each other and creating beautiful usefull works of art.
